Christoph Schneider
Software developer and architect
Christoph Schneider has been successfully developing software on various platforms for over 30 years, mainly in medical technology and preferably with Delphi. After graduating from the University of Applied Sciences as an electrical engineer, he started his own engineering company Schneider Software Engineering and at the same time completed his Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Fribourg.
Christoph has built up expert knowledge in the following areas over many years:
Speaker at International Conferences
Investment in the Future of the Software Industry
Knowing that the shortage of skilled workers in software development can only be alleviated by investing in education on a broad front, Christoph Schneider volunteers his time for the further education of Delphi developers. He is a regular speaker at the annual international developer conferences EKON, the Delphi Summit and the online conference CodeRage/DevDays. Also, in the Swiss Delphi group, he imparts profound knowledge from different topics of software development to his colleagues.

Awarded for excellence in the global Delphi community
In January 2024, Embarcadero named Christoph Schneider as the first MVP (Most Valuable Professional) for Delphi in Switzerland. He received this honour for his contributions to the Delphi community, in particular:
- The open source project FB4D provides easy access to Firebase databases and other Firebase services for applications running on Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android und iOS.
